Malt, Water, Hops, and Yeast: An Adventure in Beer Tasting

Do you like beer but you don’t know the difference between a lager and an ale? Have wondered why a Blue Moon goes well with a slice of orange? Do you want to drink academically?? Well, if so, this class is for you! In this class, we will explore different styles of beer and what changes in the brewing process lead to different flavor profiles, textures, colors, and alcohol content. We will sample several classic beers, as well as some local and international craft brews that will broaden your palette and perhaps give you a greater appreciation for the art of brewing!
